Letter of the week

HIPPO HOP

(tune: Twinkle Twinkle)

Henrietta Hippo and Harvey too went to the hop at the Zippity Zoo

They wiggled their hips and their tummies too

As they danced the hula hoop at the hullabaloo

Ho ho hee he doodle-e-doo (x2)

Ho ho hee hee hoochy-koochy-koo

And they had a happy time at the hullabaloo

Hobo Harry and Horace Loo helped that night at the Zippity Zoo

They served hamburgers and hot dogs too

And they had a happy time at the hullabaloo

Number chants

Zero the hero. One is fun.
Around and back on a railway track, two, two. (2)
Around a tree, around a tree, that’s the way to make a three.
Down and across, and down once more, that’s the way to make a four.
Make a neck, then add a tummy, and don't forgot the hat. (5)
Make a loop, then add a hoop. (6)
Across the sky, then down from heaven; that’s the way to make a seven.
Make an S and don’t be late, go back up and shut the gate. (8)
Make a hoop, add a line; that’s the way to make a nine.
One is fun and zero the hero, make ten.
