THIRD GRADE CURRICULUM

• The religion curriculum includes Christian living, Catholic beliefs, prayers, and the seven sacraments.
• The language arts curriculum consists of reading (decoding, word identification, vocabulary, and comprehension), writing, spelling, handwriting, and listening skills.
• The math curriculum includes numbers and numeration, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, measurement, time, money, graphing, and problem solving.
• The social studies topics are communities, countries, cultures, economics, map skills, and Oklahoma.
  
• Our science curriculum includes a study of science as inquiry (making predictions, observing, recording, comparing data, and graphing), energy, matter, machines, planets, plants, and animals.

Special Classes
Students spend a portion of each week attending the following specials:  Art, Physical Education, Library, Spanish, Music, and Computers.
