Communiqué

Check out our awesome flowerbeds.  We want to thank everyone who sent flowers.  And a special big thank you to Josie Joyce and Kris Hunter for the many hours of work!

On Friday evening, May 16, we will present our spring musical, Annie Jr. the performance of Annie Jr. will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be held in the gym.  All students need to be in the gym by 6:30 p.m.  All students, grades 1 through 7, will take part in the musical as the chorus.  Grade 8 will perform the parts of the main characters.  All students are required to attend this performance in order to make this show a huge success.  We have nearly completed learning all the music for the musical...the students are very excited and are looking forward to being part of this production.  Dress for the program will be casual.  Students will be allowed to wear nice jeans, without any tears or holes in them.  They may also wear a nice casual shirt...no t-shirts or shirts with large, obvious logos.

The Smith family extends their sincerest thanks and gratitude to all the students and faculty in the St. Charles family who participated in "jeans day" for us.

AUCTION:  The deadline for reservations is tomorrow, Wednesday, April 23rd.  Please bring your reservation form and payment to the school.

CGSAA

The CGSAA Track meet was a great success!  We had 58 students participate this year.

Many thanks to all the coaches and other volunteers who helped with field events and in the stands.  We could not have done this without you.

We will present the awards on Thursday at our morning assembly before school.  Parents are invited to attend.  The students that participated in the track meet may wear their track shirts with their uniforms to school on Thursday.  If the students will bring a shirt to change into at the end of the day, they can turn the track shirts in before they leave school.  Students who have a shirt but didn't participate should turn them in also.

We will also have a special surprise for ht track participants at 2:00 p.m. that day.  Coaches and all parent volunteers are welcome to join us for our special treat.

We have one more shipment of yo-yo's coming in on  Tuesday.  They will be on sale as soon as they come in during P.E. class.  A word of caution:  The more expensive the yo-yo's are more sensitive.  If you drop your yo-yo and break it, we can not replace it.
